So, why is now the time to start investing in the Toronto Stock Exchange?

Five main reasons:

1.) Investors trust it. The Canadian financial system didn't need a bailout in the 2008 economic storm.

2.) As emerging markets diversify their portfolios (much the way Canadians do to emerging markets),there will be more money coming into it. This is a very good thing.

3.) Contrary to the United States market, it's being driven by consumers, not government.

4.) In his state of the union address, Barack encouraged individuals to empower themselves and take control of their finances.

5.) Bernie Madoff isn't the only shady investor.

So, those are five of the reasons today. I could probably come up with 5 different reasons every day if I wanted.

If there are so many reasons, why isn't everybody doing it?
